Life After Our Leeds Soap Shop Closed Blog Post

Life After Our Leeds Soap Shop

It's almost 2 weeks since my little Yorkshire soap shop in Leeds Kirkgate Market closed it's doors, & boy has the time flown! I'm still here though & still love proper natural soap bars!

I've desperately wanted to say hello as I feel like I've neglected you all a little, but I'm sure you can all appreciate how time flies & life just takes over.

So, HELLO from me, Simon! I just wanted to share a little update with you, and keep you all up to date with Adam & Eco. To everyone that likes a chat (you know who you are!) feel free to pop a comment below, or message me through Adam & Eco on Facebook & I will reply to each & every one of you. You all know I love to chat too!

So what have I been up to...

After the soap shop closed, my partner & I had a couple of days together in London to see the new Sister Act show which had been delayed since 2020. A lovely couple of days reconnecting. Here we are enjoying the Super Bloom wild flowers surrounding the Tower Of London.

On my return, I had 3 days moving all the remaining stock from the soap shop to my home, which currently is stacked up everywhere! My partner keeps telling me it's like living in the shop, to which I reply, "at least we don't have to buy air freshener!"

Adapting to running my natural soap company(s) at home will be a slow process, but as we all know Rome wasn't built in a day, and nor will Adam & Eco, The Great British Soap Company, or Dar Sabon!

So please bear with me whilst I get all of my ducks in a row over the coming months.

Of course, my mind has been very busy, and you all know the challenges my Family & I have had over the last couple of years, which certainly haven't yet gone away, and so in-between everything I make sure I have time for nature.

Whatever your challenges are, I cannot advocate nature enough. It may seem foreign at times, but take a seat & try let it in. Find a spot that works for you. I leave you with me at mine waving to all of you!

Speak to you all soon,

Your Soap Maker Simon x
